This year, I spent some of my extra time, afforded to me by my freedom from commute, playing the bass, making my cat even fatter and lots of reading.

I was fortunate & blessed enough to get multiple offers from companies where majority of employees are distributed globally, hence, the opportunity for permanently remote work. If you are in PH and looking for opportunities that are permanently remote AKA “work-from-home”, I wish that you don’t lose hope and keep looking for job posts that offers work that’s remote forever — there’s quite a few out there!

  3. Bad Blood by John Carreyrou — probably one of the best books I’ve read this year. Ignited my passion for startups, data science and biomedical engineering. Plus, reminded me of the times that I’ve turned down a lucrative job offer from companies with questionable engine of growth
